I don't really even know where to start it has been so long... But I figure pictures are always the most fun to see so here are a few things that have been happening:
Jeff has been working Sooo hard lately. We hardly ever get to see him, but I am so thankful to have a husband who works so hard for his family. Their latest project he has been doing with his company is our yard! It is finally totally finished. We have grass and trees and it is just fabulous for an active little boy that loves to be outside.
Next is Fathers Day. I love love love celebrating Jeff for the father that he is. I have been so excited for this stage in my life for a long time. I got up early that morning to make a big breakfast while Jeff slept in. We made crepes, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, etc. As you can see below Braxton was my big helper.
After breakfast, since our church isn't till way late, we had Jeff open some gifts. My favorite being the card that we made from Braxton with all of his hands and feet on it. Some people talk about what a big pain it is, but I think it is so fun to do messy arts and crafts with kids. I cant wait until he is old enough to do even more.
Braxton update #1 and 2: He is eleven months old! I cannot believe I almost have a one year old! and he has 4 teeth that have popped through! I don't know if you can see in the picture but he has quite the cute hillbilly grin. He has the two bottom teeth right in the front and then two teeth on the top.. only they are not the front ones, they are the ones right next to them. I love his little cheeser grin!
Braxton update #3: Braxton has learned how to stand on his own!! He has been crawling and walking along things for a while now but just recently he has let go and will even get brave enough to take a few steps towards us or other things. He isn't walking yet but I know that it will be ANY day now.
Braxton is such and active little boy. He loves to crawl on things, up things, in things, around things.. I think you get the point.
But what he loves even more, is to play with his dada!! The minute that Jeff gets home Braxton is immediately attached to him and so excited to see him. He will call him "dadadadada" and reach his arms up to be picked up and if anyone tries to take him from Jeff at that point you will have a very sad little boy on your hands.
And lastly.. with summer finally here we have been going out swimming and to play in the water a lot lately. Braxton is a huge fan of the water. He loves to splash in pools, he knows what we are doing when he sees his floaty, he isn't scared of being spashed or getting water on his face. He is a little fish!
As for this next month there is Soooo much going on. We have two family trips, one to our cabin and the other to disneyland. We have like a thousand birthdays.. okay maybe not quite that many but we have Jeff's, and Braxton's that we have to plan and then 3 more in our family. We also have the 4th and 24th of July holidays, and two family reunions. What is the deal with July! I don't know if people realize but June and August are just as good summer months if I don't say so my self. Anyways.... until next time :)
Love the pics!! If you don't have the desire to blog for you...then blog for me! :) We live summer in Utah vicariously through you guys! ;)
