Mothers Day and Easter

This year mothers day took on a whole new meaning. It was my first mothers day, with not just any baby... MY baby, to hold in my arms :) It is the greatest thing ever to hear the words mamama coming from your child. I don't think I ever truly understood the love my parents had for me until I had Braxton. I am so grateful and so lucky to be his mama. 

The day started off with a delicious breakfast made by Jeff and Braxton while I got to sleep in. We had waffles, eggs, hash browns, juice, and lots of yummy fruit. 

After breakfast... Jeff gave me this beauty! And a certificate for a date night that he has all planned out! Am I lucky or what?

We also got to visit and spend time with lots of our friends and family. I am so thankful for the mothers in my life, they have been a strength and example to me. What a great day to celebrate :)

As for easter.. I know it is long passed now, but I figured I would post a few pics of our adventures:
