Our morning started off around 8:30. We got up and had breakfast like usual and then started on the cleaning. Braxton helped me load the dishwasher and wash all the others by hand. I don't know about in your home.. but in mine, dishes are the absolute least favorite chore for everyone, so they get built up really quick! Lucky for me, Braxton is the BIGGEST helper. I don't know what I would do without him. He makes every chore and every mundane thing so much more fun. He truly is one of my best friends.
Afterwards we swept and mopped the kitchen and front entry and then vacuumed the whole house. Braxton is equipped with his own broom and vacuum just his size so he can be by my side the whole time. Next we started some laundry, made sure all the toys and anything left laying around were picked up, and then got ready for our play date with some friends! They came over by around 11:30. We played outside in the pool, laid out and then made a fabulous lunch before everyone had to leave for nap time.
During nap time I decided to brake out the sewing machine! I fixed two pairs of Jeff's work pants, worked on the laundry again, and then hopped in the shower. When Braxton woke up we went outside to play in the back yard. Braxton loves to pull the weeds (bonus!) so thats what we did most of the time!
Next we came inside, got a simple spaghetti dinner all set up and ready for when Jeff came home, finished the laundry, and then the rest of the night was spent together as a family. By the time the day was over and we tucked Braxton into bed I felt like I had just earned my ultimate house wife merit badge! ;)
The best part is that the rest of the week continued to be just as productive. A few examples are: I am now completely caught up on my scrapbooks, half way through the ensign (of course we have a little insentive in my family to read it all, but still!), I also now have two more bags full for the DI, and I attached a few pics of my most recent crafts I've finished! Can you say energizer bunny? This bug is welcome in my house any day.

As a side note: to anyone this freak energy has affected in an annoying way (particularly referring to my hubby's saturday chore list), I sincerely apologize. This productive energy is hard to contain! ;)
Could you please pass some of that frenergy over here?? :)
