Lazy Bug!!

So, I have been bitten by the Lazy Bug.. I'm positive there is such a thing. I have been meaning to update our blog for a long time (which I will eventually do), but i've also been meaning to organize things, clean my house, get things ready for our baby (who will be here in like 9 weeks!), exercise, etc. But have I done any of these things.. NOPE! All I want to do is relax, go swimming, sit in the sun, and take advantage of this glorious lifestyle I feel so entitled to ha ha. I don't have very much picture proof of my laziness.. at least not that I'm willing to disclose ;) But here are a few pictures of my hubby after a long day out working.

As you can see, he has quite the unique cup full of water due to there not being a single clean glass in the house! What a wife I am to basically have the privilege of doing what I please all day while my hubby works his buns off for us and there isn't even a clean cup for him to drink out of when he gets home!

I think it is time for me to get started on my not so new year's resolutions. I don't know how some of you women out there with jobs, children, and multiple responsibilities do it but I must say I am very impressed and inspired by you. So, with that being said here are just a small few of the many goals I want to get started on:

1. Organize in a way that makes it easy to stay organized

2. Create a checklist of all the things I still need for our little one (which is a lot)

3. Make 2 to 3 healthy meals a week (any easy ideas...?)

4. Stay on top of things!! so I'm not too overwhelmed to do them later (like the dishes)

5. And lastly, find a way to still do our family scriptures at night so that I don't have to wake up early but in a way that will keep Jeff awake at night! (any fun ideas...?)

  1. I have a lot of recipes, they are not way healthy. The are home made though, so it's a lot healthier than most food. Comment on my blog if you want them.

  2. OK I have some easier ones for you. Do you and your hubby like Mexican food? I have a recipe for beef enchiladas that are way good! and its pretty easy! it's all home made though. it makes it healthier. I have a really good chicken or shrimp alfredo recipe with amazing alfredo sauce. I know how to make some really good home ham fried rice that's amazing!!! I have one for taco salad that's really easy. That's all I can think of right now. If you want any of these just give me your email so I can send them to you. I recommend the alfredo and enchiladas. well all of them are great. :)

  4. I just started a cooking blog! So just look on my blog for that link. I'll be getting a lot more on there next week. And about organization...I have so many tips I dont know where to start! Dishes: NEVER put dishes in the sink. It builds up way too fast. The second you're done, just rinse it and put it in the dishwasher. Same with Jeff. Then it seems like you never do a ton of dishes. I start the dishwasher every night and unload before I have breakfast every day! So just get used to it cause there'll be a lot more once the baby comes!!
